On Tuesday, November 4th, 47th District voters sent Senator Joe Fain back to Olympia with historic levels of support. With 64% of the vote, Senator Fain’s 2014 results provide the largest margin of victory of any contested candidate in recent 47th district history.

Fain received numerous endorsements from individuals and elected officials throughout the region and across the political spectrum. Over 30 local elected officials from South King County as well as prominent Democrats and Independents joined in their support for his re-election.

“I look forward to representing my friends and neighbors here in South King County for another term and will work hard to earn their continued trust and support,” said Fain. “I thank everyone for their hard work these past few months and look forward to what we will continue to accomplish together.”

This will be Senator Joe Fain’s second term representing the 47th district in Olympia. For the past two years he has served as Senate’s Majority Floor Leader.
