The Children’s Campaign Fund (CCF) has endorsed Senator Joe Fain as one of its Children’s Champions. CCF is a non-partisan organization that helps to elect leaders in Washington State that put kids first.

The Children’s Campaign Fund has been advocating for the right of all children in Washington to have a safe, happy, and high-quality childhood for more than 20 years.

Senator Fain, a former youth swim coach and son of lifelong educators has been a leading advocate for children in Olympia. As the Majority Floor Leader in the state Senate, Fain worked to increase funding for our K-12 education system, championed the restoration of food assistance for needy children, led the effort to expand foster care services, and helped thousands of children with developmental disabilities and their families receive needed care and services.

Fain is one of only a small handful of Republicans to receive this endorsement in the 2014 election.
